I’m not rich, so I don’t get to enjoy 3 or 4 course meals at expensive restaurants on a regular basis. If you can relate, perhaps also you understand my elation for 2016’s Chicago Restaurant WeekBetween January 22nd and February 4th, over 350 Chicago restaurants offer prix-fixe menus ranging from $22 to $44 dollars – usually more than 50% savings! I hit up as many restaurants as my little heart (read: wallet) could stand, and now I’m sharing the tasty deets with you:

Café Ba-Ba-Reeba!

As you probably know, I’m hoping to relocate to Spain by the end of this year. I have been a slightly worried because I hear the Spanish love to eat mostly two things: their seafood and their pork, neither of which I particularly care for. So I figured what better way to get prepared for the crux of their cuisine than an authentic(esque) tapear? I’m sure I don’t need to say it, but everything was delicious and my worries have been soothed 🙂

First of all, I have to say that this place is absolutely gorgeous. The layout, the walls, furniture, the bathroom, everything just screams art. I’ll be back for that reason alone! Okay now back to the food. Remember that time I went to the German Christmas Market in Chicago and fell in love? Well at BOHO I got to experience the best part (food) all over again. This restaurant focuses it’s cuisine on German, Austrian, or Czech dishes, so indulging in their brunch was a brand new experience for me!
